Gabrielle Melissa Powell

Gabrielle Melissa Powell, PA-C is a Board Certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of PAs. She is originally from Miami, Florida where she obtained her Child Development Associates Credential. In addition to her love for educating children, working in medicine was always her passion. While employed as a pre-K teacher, she simultaneously completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. From 2011 to 2013, she volunteered on three Pediatric Surgical Missions in Haiti, worked as a medical scribe and as an Emergency Room Registration Associate. In 2013, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences, and a minor in Psychology. Soon after, she was then accepted into the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to complete her graduate education. In May 2017, she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.  She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Gaby takes time with her patients and works closely with the physicians for the most comprehensive care. She is available for new and established patient appointments including routine annual gynecological exams, routine prenatal and postpartum care, first teen visits, evaluation and treatment of menstrual irregularities and counseling on contraceptive options.

Gabrielle is happily married to her husband, who has served in the United States Navy for more than 10 years. While he is stationed at NAS Oceana, they live in Virginia Beach with their friendly Pitbull, Prince. She enjoys watching movies, reading a good book, and spending time with her family and friends.
