Jennifer Valentin

Jennifer Valentin , a native of the Bronx, New York, joined JORDAN & ASSOCIATES OB/GYN in November 2016. Jennifer is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jennifer began her nursing journey by obtaining her Associates degree in Nursing through ECPI in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. She then went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing through the University of Phoenix while stationed overseas in Japan. She recently obtained her Masters of Science degree in Nursing at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She continues her education and is currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at The George Washington University.

Jennifer has obtained additional certification for Nexplanon insertions and removals. She is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Jennifer has a special interest in counseling, particularly counseling teens and excels at providing advice on breastfeeding. She speaks Spanish fluently given her Puerto Rican heritage. Jennifer is the mother of four children and wife to a Chief in the United States Navy.

Jennifer is available for routine annual gynecological exams, routine prenatal and postpartum care, counseling on contraceptive options and appropriate menopausal treatments including alternative therapies. Jennifer takes the time necessary with her patients and works closely with the physicians at JORDAN & ASSOCIATES OB/GYN for the most comprehensive care.
