Dr. Kellye Hoffman

Kellye Hoffman, M.D. was born in Memphis, TN. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN in 1999 and Medical Doctorate from University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee in May 2005. Dr. Hoffman was commissioned as an Ensign through the Health Profession Scholarship Program in July 2002.

 

After attending Officer Indoctrination School (OIS) in Newport, RI in the summer of 2005, she began her OB/GYN Residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Virginia. Her military tours included Okinawa, Japan and Afghanistan prior to her transfer to the Naval Hospital Beaufort in 2012.

 

Here she served as a staff OB/GYN in the Women’s Health Clinic at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in South Carolina. Dr. Hoffman became Board Certified in OB/GYN in January 2014 after passing both her written and oral board examinations. Dr Hoffman is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists & received the Most Outstanding Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award from her residency program in 2009.

 

Upon completion of her military career in February 2014, Dr. Hoffman married her husband, Lieutenant Commander Joel Wemette, in April 2014. In June 2014, Dr. Hoffman joined JORDAN & ASSOCIATES OB/GYN.
