Mary Elizabeth Yarbro

Liz was born and raised in Jackson, TN. She attended Samford University in Birmingham, AL where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2012. She then attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. Liz passed all examinations and requirements to become a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her clinical expertise is benign gynecology, which allows her to evaluate, diagnose and treat most gynecological problems. Liz has obtained additional certification for Comprehensive Colposcopy and Nexplanon insertions and removals. Liz has a special interest and passion for the evaluation of abnormal pap smears with Colposcopy and excels at first GYN exams, patient education and offering alternative therapies.
She is available for routine annual gyn exams, routine prenatal and postpartum care, counseling on contraceptive options and appropriate menopausal treatments. Liz takes the time necessary with her patients and works closely with the physicians at JORDAN & ASSOCIATES OB/GYN for the most comprehensive care.

Liz recently moved to Norfolk, VA with her fiancé who is an OB/GYN physician starting his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at EVMS. She joined JORDAN & ASSOCIATES OB/GYN in July 2016.
